eduDIGEST’s Apollo was specifically designed for use in the classroom and school environment to aid the educator in implementing the discipline and appraisal policies of the school. It allows the educator to easily log and keep detailed record of the learners’ incidents (both good and bad) on the computer.
Apollo is a networked desktop application that is installed on your school’s computers and can be integrated with the administration software your school is currently using.
It provides various comprehensive reports (on specific request and automatically by Apollo’s automated server) on all logged records and allows you to define your own disciplinary and appraisal incident types and groups.
It also offers a user-friendly platform from which you can manage bulk sms and e-mail sending to communicate these incidents to the appropriate parties, like the parents or grade heads. These messages can be sent manually or by Apollo’s automated server.
eduDIGEST Oghma is based on DataDigest's user friendly web-portal builder, but have been specifically customised for the use of the project's member schools to create web-portals for communication between the school, the educators, the learners, the learners parents, the alumni and others.
It allows the school and its staff to easily change the layout and update the content them selves without needing to contract a web designer. With eduDIGEST Oghma the educators can create and maintain their own pages with class notes, home work assignments, home work answers, interesting internet links, etc.
The system can automatically notify the learners and parents of information added or changed with its unique NotifyMe messaging feature. These users can also choose to receive only information that is relevant to them to prevent unnecessary messaging.
